Art Integration

I enjoyed the art lesson today.  I think the lesson is an excellent visual for students in regards to shapes, symmetry, and spacial awareness.  It is also an excellent way to introduce geometric vocabulary.  Students can brainstorm about the various ways that the lesson can be related to math while enjoying an art lesson.  It helps bridge the gap between art and math and see how the subjects relate to each other.  :)
