Making Math Personal

Math can be personal by having a favorite or lucky number.  As a child my favorite number was 7 and I always used it as my sports jersey number or if I had to pick a number for school or church.  It was my favorite number and was special to me.  I have always thought of math as my special friend because it was always fair and precise.  If I followed the correct steps and procedures I could always find the right answer no matter what.  Math never judges or plays favorites.  If you pay attention and follow the rules you can make math your own special friend!  :)
