What I learned about problem solving, oberving, and helping others to solve problems

I learned that it is very important to give kids enough time to solve problems on their own!  When they check their work they usually fix any mistakes they made, so make sure you give them time to come up with the right answers on their own.  Also, if they do get stuck make sure you don't tell them the right answer but lead them to it.  They will feel much more confidant in their ability to solve their own problems and will be independent thinkers.
